Program Overview
Rotary International is offering an unparalleled opportunity to up to 130 individuals committed to peace and development. The fully-funded Rotary Peace Fellowships are designed for leaders eager to make a difference through a Professional Development Certificate Program or a Masters Degree in fields related to peace and conflict resolution. Participants will be welcomed at prestigious institutions around the globe, including the USA, Japan, UK, Australia, Sweden, and Uganda.

Host Institutions and Programs:
- Duke University & University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA: Master of International Development Policy Program (MIDP) or select degrees from the University of North Carolina.
- International Christian University, Japan: Master’s Degree in Peace Studies.
- University of Bradford, England: Advanced Practice in Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution MA.
- University of Queensland, Australia: Master of Peace and Conflict Studies (MPACS).
- Uppsala University, Sweden: Peace and Conflict Studies (M.Sc.).
- Makerere University, Uganda: Post-Graduate Diploma in Peace and Development Studies (certificate program).
Important Information for Applicants
Please note that fellowship recipients may not study at a Rotary Peace Center in their home country, with the exception of candidates from Uganda, who may attend the center at Makerere University.
AID PACKAGES
The Rotary Peace Fellowships are comprehensive scholarships that cover: tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation, internship, and field-study expenses.
Program Level/Field of Study
Professional Development Certificate Program or Master’s Degree in peace and conflict resolution and prevention.
Target Group
Designed for global peace and development leaders who hold an undergraduate degree and meet the program’s eligibility criteria.
Number of Scholarships
Annually, up to 50 master’s degree fellowships and 80 for certificate studies are available.

RULES TO GET AID / ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- At least three years of related work experience for the master’s program or five years for the certificate program.
- Proficiency in English.
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, commitment to cross-cultural understanding, and a strong record of professional and community service.
