1. Eligibility

3. Get points

4. Enter the Express Entry pool
Once your completed profile is submitted, it would be taken into express entry pool. It is basically a pool containing profiles of all potential immigrants to Canada who want to go to that country.
5. Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)
Every day, the Canadian government dips into this pot and asks the top-ranking candidates if they would like to apply for the permanent residency. An ITA’s threshold changes depending on the number of available candidates in the pool and the requirement of Canada regarding its immigration needs.
6. Submit your application for permanent residence

7. Medical exam and police certificates
In your application, you are required to undergo medical examination and also present police certificates from all the countries you stayed for six uninterrupted months since age eighteen.
8. Decision on your application
The Canadian government will, then, assess your application for granting of permanent residence. It may even take half a year.
