Aid Packages
The scholarship value ranges from €3,000 to €22,000 for one year. In the case of a two-year study program, students can receive an additional UTS of an amount equal to that in the first year when they meet the process requirements for the UTS.
Rules to Get Aid
To qualify for a UTS, candidates must fulfil all of the following requirements:
- The process of applying for a UT scholarship is different from the University of Twente’s course admission application process. Funding is not withstanding; you must first obtain an admission letter.
- You have been provisionally accepted into a qualifying UT Master programme, to begin in September of the academic year 24-2025. Please be aware that you might not receive the results for up to eight weeks after completing your application.
- Your student number is a necessity.
- You are not a graduate of the University of Texas.
- You meet the requirements (if any) for getting a visa to enter the Netherlands.
- You meet the requirements of the general English language test. Academic IELTS 6.5 plus an extra 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) or TOEFL iBT of 90 on the subscore of speaking skills
- Eligibility for a Dutch student loan is not present.
- Recipients of the University Twente Scholarship are exceptional students. This usually indicates that you are in the top 5–10% in your class.
